Bradford Marine Yacht Sales – A family business with traditional values and a fresh new approach to Yacht Sales and Yacht Charter Services. Our company, founded in 1967, offers a full-line of yacht brokerage service for yachts of all types and caters to mega yacht needs.
We don’t just sell boats; we help you take care of them. Our parent company, Bradford Marine in Fort Lauderdale, is one of the world’s’ largest undercover megayacht repair facilities and yacht brokerage houses, offering a full line of quality shipyard, technical and consulting services.
In 1967, Bradford Marine made the first of many farsighted choices when it opted to install a 300 ton Synchrolift. At the time, the machinery was considered to be far larger than business demanded. Starting with the 130′ Fontainebleau II in 1967, the yard has since hauled out thousands of the world’s finest yachts.
In the mid-1990′s, Bradford Marine’s management realized that it would have to expand its facilities to accommodate the fast-growing luxury mega yacht fleet. In order to maintain its reputation as the premier yacht refit and repair company, Bradford Marine took the big step of opening a new satellite facility in the Bahamas, Bradford Marine Bahamas. This new deep water shipyard provides all the services that can be found at Bradford Marine Fort Lauderdale, and uses a 1,200 ton floating dry dock to haul out megayachts up to 230 feet, with no overhead restrictions. For smaller yachts, the shipyard has also a 150 ton Travel Lift. In partnership with Grand Bahama Shipyards, Bradford Marine Bahamas can now offer hauling and below the waterline service and repairs to larger mega yachts. Utilizing Grand Bahama Shipyards 27,600, 55,000 and 87,500 ton dry docks and our own deepwater dockage, any size yacht can now be hauled and serviced by Bradford Marine Bahamas.
